Raising Bourbon Red heritage turkeys was long a dream of ours and is now a reality.
We got our breeding stock from Porter’s Heritage Turkeys and are excited to be raising a heritage breed that breeds, sets, and raises chicks naturally. Our hens have proven to be good mothers. They set and raise two clutches a year each. Our fertility and hatch rates have been phenomenal, with 100% being the norm for both.
