Meet the Breeding Herd

Our Breeding Does:

White Fields Liberty Belle

White Fields Liberty Belle 2nd Year
Belle 6th year

Belle is an American Diary Goat Association registered, purebred Nubian and born a twin. She has a sweet temperament and chill disposition. She has great conformation and longevity of structure. She is our best producer, and has dropped twins almost every year, including her first year. Her udder is maturing beautifully, with excellent attachment. Her dam, Black Mesa Liberty Rose, had a 5-Generation AGDA Star Milker award, and her sire, Black Mesa Abraham, had an ADGA Star Buck award. Her teats are on the smaller side, but still easy to hand milk.

White Fields Marshmallow

White Fields Marshmallow, nicknamed ‘Honey’ is an American Dairy Goat Association registered, purebred Nubian. Her pedigree includes several ADGA Star Buck Awards and a 12-Generation Star Milker Award. She was a new addition to the herd in the summer of 2023, and we have been pleased with her milk production through the fall and winter while our other does are dried off. She is sweet and a good milker. She has good confirmation and udder attachment.

White Fields Song’s Melody

Melody is an American Dairy Goat Association registered, purebred Nubian. She has excellent confirmation. She has a bright personality and is quite smart. Her grand-dam was an ADGA Superior Genetics Grand Champion with a 9-Generation Star Milker Award. Melody was a new addition to the herd in the summer of 2023 and we are excited to see how she produces this spring, which will be her first freshening.

Breeding Buck:

The sire for all of our kids this year is Goldthwaite Colonel Taylor

This is Colonel’s first breeding year. He comes from amazing lines. His sire and grand sires have ADGA Star Buck awards. His grand-dam is a Superior Genetics Grand Champion with a 9-Generation Star Milker award. And his other grand-dam has an 11-Generation Star Milker award. We are very excited about the offspring from these breedings.
