Our kitten, Nicholas, is now 4 months old. He is starting to calm down a bit and spend more time sleeping and cuddling and less time trying to attack and kill anything that moves. We are happy for that.
I don’t know if it is because we used the Brinsea Chick Brooder to heat him and his brother when they were tiny orphaned bottle kittens, or what it is, but this kitten LOVES to sleep under our heavy wool rugs that my husband makes. It is so cute. He also loves to curl up in the braid pile and the balls of roving while my husband and daughter work on the rugs as well.
He met Fuzz, the big Red New Zealand rabbit we let our son keep as a pet after we closed the rabbitry in January. It was so cute. He wanted to attack and wrestle with her, but couldn’t figure out how to go about it. So he just sat there watching her in frustration. She had this “do-it-an-die you little punk” attitude about her. She does weigh about 3 times as much as him, so it is probably good he kept his distance.
Our big chocolate lab, Holly, has accepted him as a permanent family member and is caught cuddling with him almost daily, though she pretends she doesn’t like it when she knows you are looking.
I have quite a build-up of adorable pictures so I thought I would share them with you all.
